Real Madrid made home advantage count at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, 18 October 2026, brushing aside Sevilla 4-1 in a one-sided Liga clash. The hosts were in control from early on and led 2-0 at the break, with the visitors never really finding a foothold in the first half. Sevilla's away support had little to cheer as the home side dictated the pace and territory throughout. The second half followed much the same script. Sevilla did manage to pull a goal back, giving their fans a brief lift, but Real Madrid responded quickly and added two more to seal a comfortable 4-1 win. It's the kind of result that keeps the pressure on rivals near the top of the table, while Sevilla will need to go back to the drawing board after a tough afternoon on the road.
