About Fulham FC

Fulham Football Club was founded in 1879 and has called Craven Cottage home ever since, giving the club one of football's most enduring addresses. The ground sits beside the Thames in southwest London, and that riverside location has become part of the club's identity over more than a century and a half.

The club's trophy cabinet tells a story of consistent lower-division success without ever quite reaching the very top. Fulham won the Second Division three times—in 1948-49, 2000-01, and most recently in 2021-22—and claimed the Third Division South back in 1931-32. They've also won the old Second Division under its previous numbering system in 1998-99, plus the Southern League First Division twice in the early 1900s. In more recent times, the club has reached two Championship play-off finals, winning both in 2018 and 2020, which speaks to a period of genuine ambition and competitive strength. Their nearest thing to a major European run came in 2010 when they reached the UEFA Europa League final, while a memorable FA Cup run took them to the 1975 final, though they fell short of winning it. They also lifted the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2002. Despite all this, a top-flight league title has always remained out of reach.
