Manchester City was founded in 1880 and has spent well over a century as one of English football's significant forces. The club's home is now the Etihad Stadium, a modern ground that reflects the ambitions of the contemporary side.

Their FA Cup victories stretch across the decades—1904, 1934, 1956, 1969, 2011, and most recently 2023. The League Cup has been even more fruitful, with eight wins between 1970 and 2021.
