About Liverpool FC
Liverpool Football Club was founded in 1892 and has called Anfield home ever since. The club emerged from the city's footballing tradition and quickly established itself as a force in English football, winning their first top-flight title in 1900-01. Over the decades, Anfield became synonymous with attacking, entertaining football and a fierce connection with its supporters.
The club's trophy cabinet reflects periods of sustained excellence. They've won the English top-flight title 20 times, with particularly dominant spells in the 1970s and 1980s when they accumulated eight league titles in thirteen years. Their cup record is equally impressive: eight FA Cups, ten League Cups, and three UEFA Cups. But it's in European competition where Liverpool has truly left its mark. Six European Cup or Champions League titles place them among the continent's elite, with their most recent triumph coming in 2019. That same year they also won the FIFA Club World Cup, adding another dimension to their international standing. They've also collected four UEFA Super Cups along the way. Recent years have brought fresh silverware too, including league success in 2019-20 and 2024-25, proving the club remains capable of competing at the highest level.

Andoni Iraola
Andoni Iraola took over as Liverpool manager in summer 2026, following Arne Slot's departure. The Spanish coach arrives at Anfield after three seasons with Bournemouth, where he had previously spent time managing Rayo Vallecano in Spain.
