About Chelsea FC

Chelsea Football Club was established in 1905 and has made Stamford Bridge their home ever since. The West London club has built itself into one of England's most successful sides, though their rise to genuine dominance came much later than their founding.

The club's first league title arrived in 1954-55, a significant moment in their history. What followed was a long period before the next championship, but from 2004 onwards Chelsea entered a new era of sustained success. They won the league six times in total, with back-to-back titles in 2005 and 2006 followed by further championships in 2009-10, 2014-15, and 2016-17. In cup competitions, Chelsea have proved consistently formidable, winning the FA Cup eight times and the League Cup five times. Their European record has been particularly strong in recent years, with Champions League victories in 2012 and 2021 and Europa League wins in 2013 and 2019. They've also claimed the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice and won the Club World Cup in both 2021 and 2025. Most recently, Chelsea added the UEFA Conference League to their collection in 2025, underlining their continuing ambition across multiple competitions.
