About Club Atletico Osasuna
Atletico Osasuna was founded in 1920 and has been based at El Sadar ever since, making them a fixture of Pamplona football for over a century. The club has deep roots in the Navarre region and remains central to the city's sporting identity, though they've spent much of their history oscillating between Spain's top two divisions rather than establishing themselves as genuine contenders.
The club's best periods have come in glimpses. They reached the top four of La Liga twice—in 1990-91 and again in 2005-06—which represents the closest they've come to serious silverware at the highest level. That 2005-06 season was particularly notable, as it came the same year they reached the Copa del Rey final, though they fell short when it mattered most. Almost two decades later, they made it back to another Copa del Rey final in 2023, only to suffer the same disappointment. For all their longevity and regional importance, Osasuna remain one of Spain's traditional underachievers when it comes to winning trophies, a reality that defines much of their modern identity.

Luis Miguel Ramis took over at Osasuna in June 2026 after two years managing Burgos CF. The Spanish coach signed a two-year contract with the club, tasked with steering them through the coming seasons in La Liga.
