About Elche Club de Fútbol, S.A.D.
Elche Club de Fútbol was founded in 1923 and has since become a fixture in Spanish football. The club represents the city of Elche in the southeastern region of Spain and has made their home at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero, where they've built their identity over the decades.
The club's greatest achievements came in the Segunda División, where they've won the title twice. Their first success came in 1958-59, establishing themselves as one of the division's strongest sides during that era. More recently, Elche captured another Segunda División championship in 2012-13, showing that they remained capable of competing at the highest level of the second tier even in modern times. These triumphs represent the club's most significant silverware and reflect periods when Elche has genuinely threatened to dominate Spanish football's second level.

Head Coach
Eder Sarabia
Martín Anselmi took over as Elche's head coach in June 2026, arriving from Brazil where he'd been managing Botafogo until March. The Argentine coach brings recent experience from the top flight of South American football to the challenge of leading the club.
