About Manchester United FC

Manchester United was founded in 1878 and has made Old Trafford their home for generations. The club's red shirt has become one of football's most recognisable colours, and their support stretches far beyond Manchester itself. There's something about United that's always pulled people in—whether it's the history soaked into the old ground or simply the scale of what the club represents in English football.

When it comes to silverware, United have plenty to show for it. They've won the English top-flight title 20 times, with early success coming in the 1907-08 season and a cluster of wins through the 1950s, before the more recent dominance from the 1990s onwards established them as one of the country's most consistent winners. The FA Cup has been won 13 times, most recently in 2024. They've also lifted the League Cup on six occasions, and their European pedigree is underlined by three European Cup or UEFA Champions League titles, won in 1968, 1999, and 2008. Beyond that they've claimed the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, and even the Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, showing their reach extends across different competitions and continents.
