Troyes couldn't find a way through a stubborn Marseille side at Stade de l'Aube on Sunday, 11 October 2026, falling 0-2 in a game that stayed goalless and tight for long periods. The first half gave little away, both teams cagey and careful, and it was no surprise the sides went in level at the break. Marseille looked the sharper outfit once the second half got going, though, and they made that edge count when it mattered. The win moves Marseille forward nicely and will settle a few nerves after a stretch of mixed form. For Troyes, there's little to take from this one beyond the usual home frustrations - a goalless opening act that promised a fight, followed by a second half where the visitors simply had more about them. Another home game slips by without a goal to show for it, and that pattern needs breaking soon.
The Matchup
Troyes 0-2 Marseille was the final score at Stade de l'Aube, in a game where Marseille did enough across the ninety minutes to deserve the three points. It was not always comfortable for Marseille, and Troyes pushed for a way back into the game, but the result stood. Games like this can carry real weight later in the season, so this is a scoreline worth remembering. Below is a closer look at how the match broke down, statistically.
