Strasbourg gave their home crowd something to shout about at the Meinau on Saturday, 17 October 2026, going in at the break a goal up against Paris SG. The hosts defended well for long spells and looked organised, making the visitors work for every yard. But Ligue 1's standard bearers had other ideas in the second half, flipping the game on its head to win 1-3. Three goals without reply after the interval tells its own story. Paris SG found a gear the home side simply couldn't match once they settled into the game, and the result keeps them firmly in the title picture. For Strasbourg, there will be plenty to think about after leading at half-time and still coming away with nothing. It's the kind of defeat that stings more than most, given how well they'd set themselves up before the break.
The Matchup
Strasbourg 1-3 Paris SG was the final score at Stade de la Meinau, in a game where Paris SG did enough across the ninety minutes to deserve the three points. It was not always comfortable for Paris SG, and Strasbourg pushed for a way back into the game, but the result stood. Games like this can carry real weight later in the season, so this is a scoreline worth remembering. Below is a closer look at how the match broke down, statistically.
