Frosinone put on a wild attacking display at the Stirpe on Friday, 16 October 2026, racing into a 3-2 lead by half-time before holding on for a 4-2 win over Sassuolo. The hosts looked sharp from the off, trading blows with their visitors in an end-to-end first half that produced five goals between the two sides. Sassuolo had their moments and clearly came to play, but the gaps at the back were there to be exploited, and Frosinone made sure they were. The second half was tighter, with just the one goal separating the sides after the break, but Frosinone never looked like letting the three points slip away. It's the kind of result that will do wonders for confidence at the Stirpe, a statement win built on an attacking performance that had goals written all over it from the first whistle. For Sassuolo, there's plenty to work on defensively, even if going forward they showed enough to suggest brighter days are ahead.
