Beşiktaş dominated possession and had the better chances on the night, but Alanyaspor's clinical finishing proved the difference in a 1-0 victory at Bahcesehir Okullari Stadium. The visitors controlled the ball for long periods and registered six shots on target compared to Alanyaspor's three, yet somehow left empty-handed. Paulo Victor was the standout performer, turning in a man-of-the-match display that made the difference when it mattered. The first half was cagey and goalless, with both sides cancelling each other out despite Beşiktaş's territorial advantage. Alanyaspor showed patience and discipline, soaking up the pressure before striking decisively after the break. It's a reminder that football doesn't always reward the side with more of the ball, and Alanyaspor will head home delighted with three points snatched against one of the league's big guns.

Beşiktaş had their moments and did not make it easy from start to finish, but ultimately came up short on the day. Small margins like this one tend to add up over a season, and results such as this are often what separates teams in the table further down the line. Here is a closer look at exactly how the two sides compared, statistically.
