Eyüpspor edged past Alanyaspor 2-1 at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Sunday, 30 August 2026, in a game that was tighter than the final score suggested for long stretches. The hosts went in level at the break after an early exchange of goals, and it took until after half-time for them to find the edge that mattered. They dominated the ball for much of the afternoon and carved out the better openings, finishing with 11 shots to Alanyaspor's 7, four of them on target compared to two from the visitors. Corners actually went the other way, with Alanyaspor winning two to Eyüpspor's one, a small detail that hinted at how scrappy things got in the final third at times. Zak Jules was the difference-maker, marshalling things from the back and picking up a well-deserved Man of the Match award with a 7.9 rating. For Eyüpspor, it's a solid three points that will settle nerves early in the campaign. Alanyaspor will feel they had enough about them to leave with something, but couldn't quite make their spells of pressure count.
The Matchup
Eyüpspor 2-1 Alanyaspor was the final score at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium, in a game where Eyüpspor did enough across the ninety minutes to deserve the three points. Eyüpspor also had the better share of the ball, holding 63% possession, which usually goes hand in hand with the extra control a winning side tends to show. The shot count told a similar story, with 11 attempts from Eyüpspor against 7 from Alanyaspor over the course of the game. It was not always comfortable for Eyüpspor, and Alanyaspor pushed for a way back into the game, but the result stood. Games like this can carry real weight later in the season, so this is a scoreline worth remembering. Below is a closer look at how the match broke down, statistically.
