Beşiktaş put on a show at Tüpraş Stadyumu on Monday, 31 August 2026, cruising past Çorum FK 6-2 in a Süper Lig clash that was effectively over by half-time. Two goals up at the break, the home side kept pushing and never let Çorum settle, adding four more after the interval to turn a comfortable lead into a rout. Dušan Vlahović was at the heart of it all, picking up the Man of the Match award with a 9.5 rating for a display that had everything - movement, finishing, the lot. Çorum did have their moments, and the scoreline flattered them slightly given how one-sided long spells of the game felt, but they simply couldn't live with Beşiktaş's cutting edge in front of goal. Seven shots on target from eighteen attempts tells its own story about the home side's clinical edge. For Beşiktaş, this kind of result builds real momentum early in the season. Çorum will need to regroup fast if they want to avoid results like this becoming a habit.

Çorum FK had their moments and did not make it easy from start to finish, but ultimately came up short on the day. Small margins like this one tend to add up over a season, and results such as this are often what separates teams in the table further down the line. Here is a closer look at exactly how the two sides compared, statistically.
