Feyenoord saw off AZ Alkmaar 2-0 at De Kuip on Saturday, 10 October 2026, in an Eredivisie clash that was settled by a solid first-half showing. The home side led 1-0 at the break, having done the hard work before the interval, and never really looked troubled after that. AZ huffed and puffed in spells but couldn't find a way back into it, and a second goal put the game to bed and took any real tension out of the closing stages. It's a result that keeps Feyenoord's season ticking along nicely and will do plenty for confidence heading into the next round of fixtures. For AZ, there's not much to take from this one beyond a reminder that away trips to De Kuip remain a tough assignment. The gap between the two sides on the day was clear, and a 2-0 scoreline felt like a fair reflection of how the afternoon panned out.
