Estrela and Famalicão shared the points at Campo Municipal dos Prazeres on Saturday, 5 September 2026, in a game that had a bit of everything. Famalicão settled quicker and led at the break after a first half they controlled for long spells, and it took the home side until the second period to really find their rhythm. Once they did, Estrela pushed hard for an equaliser and got their reward, only for the visitors to hit back again. In the end it finished 2-2, with both sides cancelling each other out chance for chance and shot for shot. Koutsias was at the heart of everything good about Famalicão's night, picking up the Man of the Match award with an 8.2 rating for his influence going forward. Fourteen shots apiece, four on target each, five corners each - honestly, the numbers tell you how tight this one was. Neither keeper could really be blamed for the goals they conceded. A fair result on the balance of play, even if both sets of players will feel two points went missing rather than one gained.
The Matchup
Estrela and Famalicão drew 2-2 at Campo Municipal dos Prazeres, in a game that could easily have finished either way. Neither team could really take control of the ball for long, with Estrela holding 41% possession, close enough to an even split to explain why the game never settled into one side's favour. Both sides had spells on top without ever pulling clear, and the shot count on the day backs up just how tight things were. A draw is rarely the result either team sets out to get, but on this occasion it was a fair reflection of ninety minutes where chances were shared roughly evenly. Below is a closer look at exactly how the numbers from the match broke down.
