Toronto FC came from behind to edge Columbus Crew 2-1 at BMO Field in a match that saw the home side dominate the second half after a sluggish start. The visitors went in ahead at the break, but Toronto turned it around with some aggressive play that generated ten corners and seven shots on target. Walker Zimmerman was immense for the hosts, earning man of the match honours with a commanding display that kept the visitors at bay when it mattered. The Crew had their chances to extend their lead but couldn't capitalize, managing just four shots on target despite having more of the ball early on. Toronto's comeback showed character when they could've folded, and the win gives them three points in what had looked like a tricky afternoon. It wasn't pretty at times, but getting the result at home against a side like Columbus is exactly what you need if you're serious about the playoffs.
