West Ham vs QPR

QPR made the trip across London on 9 October 2026 and gave themselves something to hold onto, going in at the break a goal up at London Stadium. West Ham had to dig in after the interval and eventually found a way back, levelling things up to make it 1-1 by full time. It wasn't the sort of night West Ham fans would have wanted on home turf, but at least the response after half-time showed some fight when it mattered. For QPR, a point away from home against Championship opposition in West Ham won't feel like a bad return, especially after leading at the break. West Ham will probably look back on this one with mixed feelings, given they let a lead slip from the visitors' perspective and had to work hard just to salvage a draw. Neither side will be thrilled with 1-1, but there were signs for both to build on before their next outings.

It finished 1-1 between West Ham and QPR at London Stadium, a scoreline that summed up a game short on clear separation between the two sides. It was an even contest for large parts of the afternoon, with neither team able to take control of the game for long. There were spells of pressure from both teams, but not enough to turn a share of the points into all three. Days like this are part of a long season, and how each side responds in their next fixture will say plenty about their form heading forward. Here is a closer look at how the two teams compared statistically.
